The Queen’s Platinum Jubilee Celebrations

Sunday 5th June

The Harrowby & District Residents Association is holding a lunchtime street party in Molyneux Street to mark the Queen’s 70 years on the throne. Light refreshments, sandwiches and a cake will be provided in a large marquee close to the Duke of York public house. Tables and chairs will be provided. The local community from the HDRA area (Molyneux Street, Harrowby Street, Brendon Street, Cato Street, Shouldham Street and Seymour Place) are invited to join together to celebrate the Jubilee and to enjoy the first community event for over 2 years.

Arrival: 12:30 hrs
Welcome: 12:45 hrs (by HDRA Chairman) followed by Cake cutting and toast: 13:45 hrs (by a local dignitary)

Soft drinks will be served. In addition the Duke of York will be selling drinks and of course you are welcome to bring-your-own.

At 14:30 hrs people are invited to visit The Larrik to continue socialising and enjoying the party atmosphere.
